A Great Deal On Paper Pumpkin!

Happy Thursday! I just wanted to share one more time before time runs out, that Paper Pumpkin has a phenomenal deal going on right now....If you sign up for a recurring subscription by Saturday 6/10/17 you will get 25% off your first 3 months! Now, this is only for brand new subscribers, so if you are a past subscriber, unfortunately, you would not be eligible for this fantastic deal.

What is Paper Pumpkin?

Paper Pumpkin is a monthly crafting kit subscription. It arrives in your mailbox each month containing everything you need to complete the months project. Each month, you receive a brand new, exclusive photo-polymer stamp set (You can not purchase these stamp sets separately anywhere, they are exclusive to that months kit); one or two Stampin' Spot ink pads, this is a great way to grow your ink color collection because the colors will NOT repeat for at least 12 months! So that is easily 12-24 new colors per year to add to your color collection! You will receive all of the pre-cut to size cardstock necessary to complete 8-12 of the project designs along with all of the embellishments needed to decorate your projects. Projects are typically greeting cards, however, they love to throw in treat bags and boxes into the mix, one past kit consisted of materials to create adorable party banners! They also include any Stampin' Dimensionals and Glue Dots that would be necessary to complete your project. All you need to supply is a pair of scissors to cut Bakers Twine or Ribbon and basic adhesive of your choice. Your very first shipment will include a size D clear acrylic block that you will keep to use with all future kits.

Why Paper Pumpkin?

1. Every kit comes with an exclusive stamp set to use over and over!
2. We also send at least one Classic Stampin’ Spot with every kit. The colors don’t repeat in a 12-month period, so it’s easy to build a collection of colorful ink.
3. t’s an incredible value! In addition to a stamp set an ink spot(s), the kits are packed with supplies many to make awesome projects like cards, home décor, gift packaging, and more. For example, our card kits (6+ per year) always include 8 cards—at least!
4. It’s flexible! You can suspend (for a month) or cancel at anytime.
5. Since all the prep work is done, the projects take a shorter time to complete, making it the perfect on-the-go craft. Headed out of town? Grab a kit to create during some downtime. It’s all contained in one little box, so it’s easy to take anywhere!
6. It’s a surprise in your mailbox every month. Because who doesn’t love happy mail?
7. Every month, we share a video to quickly demonstrate how to assemble each kit so that you can pass it along to your subscribers. Just go to PumpkinHowTo.com to link over to our YouTube channel.
8. You can create the project as we intended, or if you’re feeling the urge to get a little creative, head on over to our Pinterest page. We link to our subscribers’ brilliant projects every month.
9. Every subscriber has exclusive access to our selection of past kits. So, when a kit runs out, you can buy more—either as a full kit or a refill (without stamp set and ink).
10. It's a great opportunity to learn and play with new techniques (recent kit included watercolor pencils and emboss resist paper!)

Planner Love with Love Today Planner Kit

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday. Well it's a rainy one here in CNY but that just makes for a great crafty day, right? Anyway, today I want to share with you a brand new product from Stampin' Up!, the Love Today Planner Kit. I'm sure you're aware, but if not, planners have become all the rage these days. Not just for keeping track of appointments and where you need to be and when, and which kid has a sporting or musical event and where so on and so forth, but they have evolved into a memory keeping source as well along with being another opportunity to express your creativity. And isn't that what we're all about? Expressing our creativity? Well, I don't know about you, but I do use a planner to keep myself on task with the multiple meetings that I attend for my day job as well as keeping my stamp class schedules and workshop events along with crafting events that I am involved with. Without my planner, I would be wandering aimlessly and no one wants that!

The Planner

It's beautiful in Night of Navy with gold foil polka dots along with the beautiful gold corners. It really is just as beautiful as it is functional. It's ready for you to personalize and make all your own. Another great feature, on the monthly pages, the Month is pre-printed at the top however, the dates are left blank. This will allow you to begin using your planner whenever it's convenient for YOU!

If you want to start in September with the new school year, then that's when you begin so you would set up based on that and your July dates will be correct for 2018 not 2017 if it were printed. So, if you're a little OCD like me and HATE starting in the middle of a new planner, this is PERFECT!

What You Get:

You get everything you need to set up your planner. You receive 12 Month at a glance pages, all of the weekly planning pages, 2 pocket folders, 3 vinyl photo pockets (fill with photos, Memories and More pocket cards, or anything else you would like to see) you get 3 mini sticky note packs, planner stickers, as well as a sheet of gold foil stickers to decorate your planner pages, tabbed dividers for your planner along with an acrylic bookmark to make it easy to flip to the week you are working in, dashboards to use for anything you like, use it to set goals and track or make To Do lists etc. And to make it even sweeter, there is a refill available to keep this planner fresh for you going forward. And a great stamp set to compliment this planner is the Tabs for Everything stamp set, with "To Do", "Don't Forget" and several others. This is definitely next up on my "to order" list, how about yours?   If you would like any assistance in getting this planner into your hands, please feel free to contact me and I would love to help you. if you would like to take a closer look and/or purchase, click the links below. In the meantime, have a great day and until next time,
Happy Stamping,
Katrina

Eastern Palace Suite and Tranquil Tide

Happy Thursday! I am so glad you stopped by! We're getting soooo close to the launch of the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog! OH-EM-GEE! I can barely contain myself and CAN NOT wait to be able to order beyond the limited pre-order selection Stampin' UP! allowed us demonstrators to get ahead of time. Trust me, that alone makes it sooo worth being a demo...because lets face it, being able to order a little bit is far better than not being able to order at all; well at least that is my theory...don't laugh, I can't help myself...who knew picking up a rubber stamp would lead to such an addiction?
Anyhoo, I have a really cute card for you using the Eastern Palace suite of product that is only available as a bundle until 5/31/17. Once the catalog goes live on 6/1, the only bundled items in this suite will be the stamp and die set. Everything else will be an individual purchase and will ultimately cast you a little more . I love these dies too. They are so different from any other dies we have ever carried because several of the dies make partial cuts, creating dimension rather than fully cutting the images out. I will post an image of all the possible looks with this die set in the near future so you can see them all, but for now, here is my card for today using the stamp set, dies and designer series paper;
Altered partial die cut using the Eastern Palace die set
The Tranquil Tide is such a soothing color and it pairs beautifully with Dapper Denim. The sentiments in this set make it pretty versatile and the font used is just beautiful.

Instructions:
I began with a standard card base of Tranquil Tide cut 8.5" x 5.5" scored and folded at 4.25". I layered a piece of the Eastern Palace DSP cut 5.25" x 4" and a second piece of Tranquil Tide cut 4.25" x 2.375" (2 3/8"), Very Vanilla 4.125" x 2.25" and a second piece of DSP cut 4" x 2.125".
I then cut a piece of Tranquil Tide using the flower shaped die (this die does a partial cut, so I then used a circle framelit to fully cut it away from the cardstock and the removed the remaining paper from between the "petals". I stamped the sentiment in Tranquil Tide ink onto scrap Very Vanilla and the dotted circle image with Dapper Denim ink and punched it out using the 2" circle punch and adhered it to the "flower" and attached this to the card using dimensionals.
Let me know your thoughts about this card. I would love to hear them, so please leave a comment below and I will be back soon with more sneak peeks into the awesome new catalog!
Happy Stamping,
Katrina

Wood Words & The 2017-2019 In-Colors

Good Morning and happy Tuesday! I have to tell you, I spent the weekend in my craft room playing around with new goodies, as I am preparing for my new Annual Catalog Launch party, and the more I play with these new In-colors, the more I fall in love with them. In today's cards, I created monochromatic examples using each of the new colors using the new stamp set, Wood Words, an awesome stamp set that ranks right up there as a favorite and I really hope you enjoy these as well.
For each card, I began with a card base cut 8.5" x 5.5" scored and folded at 4.25" Then for the Tranquil Tide and the Fresh Fig card, I used coordinating colored DSP from the Eastern Palace Designer Series paper pack cut 4" x 5.25" and for the Lemon Lime Twist and the Berry Burst, I made my own patterned paper using the splatter image from the Touches of Textures stamp set and the Powder Pink I created the pattern using the dotted pattern from the Playful Backgrounds stamp set. I then cut a second piece of solid cardstock 3.25" x 4.5" and stamped the floral pattern from Wood Words stamp set onto Whisper White with the coordinating ink pad along with the sentiment from the same set in Basic Black and Fresh Fig for the Tranquil Tide card.
I hope you enjoyed today's cards and I really hope I was able to capture how awesome these colors really are for you. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts in the comments below as I do enjoy reading them. In the meantime, have a great day and happy stamping,
Katrina,

Lovely Friends and Laurel Pop Ups

Well good morning and Happy Thursday! Well it looks like Spring or should I say Summer is finally making her appearance here in Central New York.We were seriously beginning to think she decided to vacation in the tropics and we were going to have to skip over it straight to Fall...our temps have been hanging in the 40's and 50's which is quite chilly even for us this time of year...but in CNY fashion, she is fashionably late and hit 88 today! Now, if it just sticks! What's the weather been like in your area?
Ok, well enough about the weather here in CNY, I have a pop up card for you using the brand new Lovely Friends stamp set and Lovely Laurel Thinlits. This set is just too cute and has so many possibilities.
I just love the new In-color Berry Burst. It's just so bright and cheery and it coordinates well with several of our core colors. Here I paired it up with Bermuda Bay and Old Olive and I think it just pops with these colors.

If you would like to see more color combinations with the new In-colors, be sure to sign up for my newsletter. As a free gift to my subscribers, I have included a free PDF for download when you subscribe.
For the inside, I added the Laurel pop up with banner. This makes such a great interactive card, your recipient will think you spent hours making it however, the Thinlits make it a breeze!
I hope you enjoyed today's card, please let me know your thoughts in the comments below. I would love to hear from you. I would also love to hear what you would like to see for future projects and posts. I am here for YOU and it's my desire to provide the content that you will find most useful.
Have an amazing day, and I will see you back here Sunday for a blog hop tour with some of my stamping friends with plenty more sneak peeks into the new catalog coming June 1st. The supplies for this card other will be available June 1st.
Happy Stamping,
Katrina
